Mexico’s President Felipe Calderon today announced the development of a new tourist destination in the Pacific in the country; investments detonate seven billion dollars over the next 16 years.
The new destination is located in the municipality of Escuinapa, Sinaloa, Mazatlan 85 kilometers, and is part of two tourism investment projects of the National Tourism Fund (Donator). Integrally Planned Center will be twice the size of Cancun and will house a total of 44 thousand hotel rooms by 2025, said the director of Donator, Miguel Gomez Mont.
